The short version

PrintLan is 100% local. The app runs on your PC, binds only to that PC (loopback), and talks to your printers directly over your local network. It works with the internet cable unplugged. There is no account, no telemetry, no subscription, and no PrintLan server that could hold your data — customer lists, orders, camera feeds and print history live in files on your machine.

The product

Data is stored in an SQLite database and your own folders on your PC. Backups are zip files you keep; restore is copying them back. Delete them and the data is gone — nobody else ever had a copy. The only traffic that can ever leave your network is an alert you explicitly enable (Discord or ntfy push notifications). Control and data never leave.

This website

This site is fully static — no cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party scripts. The only external requests are the two Google Fonts files that render the typography. We don't know you visited, and we prefer it that way.
